N-hook 2-3 1/2 ox skiens of multi-color yarn. Chain 27.

Dc in two chin from hook.

Dc across row.

Use all of the yarn. Should finish to be 40-46 inches long. This is just for shoulders and mid back. Great for wheelchair bound.

kimberly's scarf

1-4 oz skien yarn ch 25 dc in 3rd ch from hook and across(22 dcs) Row 2 2dc,ch 1 1dc acrossend 2 dc of row (middle work can very but side need to be 2 dc) make to desired length roughly 45 inches

mona's shawl

ch 93. dc in 3rd ch from hook and across.(90) Continue dc's until width of shawl measures 12 inches(12 rows). Now find center start flap square to measure 9 inches with center of flap and shawl match. Dc across the 9 inch area until the flap is 9 inches long. This may sound confusing but once you start the flap, it will make it easy to figure out as people gauge is different
